Creating a Home
Hey guys, I’m Pastor Cesar Encinas from Creados Para Ser Uno in Mexico City and I have great news, We are about to rent this huge house just in the middle of Mexico City! We came up with this idea called “Creating a Home”.
Around 15 people per month are asking us for help to leave their addiction behind, but they can’t do it without a place to stay, nor money to pay for a rehab center, so We realized that if we take them in immediately, they have better chances to recover. Taking them out of the streets is the easy part, take the streets out of them is the hard work.
If We give them shelter for at least 35 days, keep them clean, and teach them how a home looks alike, We have better chances to save them, but We don’t have the money to make this idea come through. We need $70,000 dollars for December 20th so the home can be fully opened by the end of January 20th, 2023.
The funds will be used to pay the rent for a year, equip the place so it looks and feel like a true home, and pay for the professional staff who will take care of the new members of our family. We know that with you being part of this, Mexico will be addiction-free very soon.
This place will be able to shelter 20 people at once and they are going to be able to know how a home looks alike. We need to make this happen by December 20th, so we can be fully functioning on January 20th. We know that with you in our corner, this is going to be more than achievable!
